A tool for bleeding the brakes, changing the fluid or pushing back the caliper pistons cleanly.
DRAPER offers this brake tool. The bike’s brakes work with a fluid that carries the pressure from the lever to the caliper pistons.
The benefits:
Draper is a British family business founded in 1919 by Bert Draper in Kingston upon Thames, based since 1963 in Chandler’s Ford, Hampshire, and run by the family for three generations. Its catalogue lists more than 11,000 hand, power and automotive tools and workshop equipment items.
A hardened or split hose, a nozzle that no longer seals on the bleed screw, a leaking non-return valve, marked piston tool jaws: replace the part concerned, otherwise air gets into the system.
Cross-Mania tip: Use only the fluid stated on the master cylinder cap, protect the paintwork with a rag (brake fluid attacks it) and never let the reservoir run dry during bleeding.
Workshop tool: it works on any motorcycle or ATV. Just check the size or dimension stated.
