TECNIUM CDI Box for HONDA TRX 90 SPORTRAX 2WD 1993-2005

TECNIUM offers this CDI unit for HONDA TRX 90 SPORTRAX 2WD 1993-2005. The CDI unit is the brain of the ignition. On every revolution, a pickup next to the flywheel tells it where the engine is.

Why replace the CDI unit?

The benefits:

• A strong spark again, and an engine that starts, runs smoothly and revs out.
• An OEM-type unit that plugs into the original connector, with no change to the wiring.
• A new unit removes a common cause of hard-to-find electrical faults (misfires, cut-outs when hot).

When should you replace this part?

No spark although the plug, coil and stator are fine, misfires or cut-outs when hot, or an engine that will no longer rev out: the CDI unit needs replacing.

Specifications and fitting tips

• Manufacturer part number: 1551

Cross-Mania tip: Before replacing the unit, check the plug, plug cap, coil, stator and earths; connect it with the ignition off and protect the connectors from water with dielectric grease.
