The LEATT Fade Cap is a cap for the paddock, the workshop and everyday wear.
An off-road brand cap works trackside as well as day to day: the peak keeps the sun out of your eyes while you watch the others ride, and the look carries the motocross vibe wherever you go.
LEATT was born in South Africa from the Leatt-Brace, the neck protection device invented by Dr Christopher Leatt after a fatal racing accident. Since then, the brand has designed protection and gear tested in real-world conditions, with rider safety as its guiding principle.
One size or specific sizing: it is all listed in the specifications. Skip the washing machine, which can bend the peak; a hand wash in lukewarm water is enough, then let it air-dry over an upturned bowl. For chilly paddock mornings, have a look at our jackets too.
How do I wash a cap?
By hand, in lukewarm water with a little mild soap, scrubbing gently with a soft brush; let it air-dry, never in the tumble dryer or on a radiator.
Snapback, trucker or flat bill: what's the difference?
A snapback adjusts with a snap closure at the back; a trucker has a breathable mesh back; a flat bill has a straight peak, unlike curved-peak caps. The model name tells you which style it is.
