HOT CAMS Stage 2 Intake Camshaft for POLARIS RZR 900 2011-2015

The HOT CAMS Stage 2 5257-2IN camshaft is designed for POLARIS RZR 900 from 2011 to 2015. The camshaft opens the valves: the shape of its lobes decides when they open, how far and for how long. When to replace it?

Fitting tips

2. Oil the lobes and journals with clean engine oil before fitting the camshaft.
3. Tighten the journal caps in a criss-cross pattern to the manufacturer's torque, then check the timing over several turns.
4. Set the valve clearance with suitable shims: a new camshaft often changes the clearances.
5. Replace the decompressor or its springs if they are tired.
