HOT CAMS camshaft Stage 2 exhaust for KAWASAKI KX 450 F from 2006 to 2015

HOT CAMS offers this camshaft Stage 2 exhaust for KAWASAKI KX 450 F from 2006 to 2015. In a four-stroke engine, the camshaft turns with the engine via the timing chain. Its lobes press on the valves to open them at the right moment and for the right time.

Why change the camshaft?

The benefits:

• Replace a worn or marked camshaft.
• Performance cams (Stage 1, 2, 3…) change the engine’s character: the higher the stage, the more the gain is at high revs.
• A precisely machined part for reliable running.

Why choose HOT CAMS?

Hot Cams camshafts are machined from case-hardened 8620 steel and dyno-proven in the USA; Stage 1 cams fit with the stock springs (unless stated otherwise).

When should you replace the camshaft on your KAWASAKI KX 450 F?

Marked lobes or valve clearances that drift quickly point to a worn camshaft. It is inspected at every valve clearance check.

Specifications and fitting tips
