The chain linking the crankshaft to the camshaft so the valves and piston stay in sync.

PROX offers this cam chain for POLARIS GENERAL 1000 EPS DELUXE, RANGER 570, SPORTSMAN 570, SPORTSMAN 570 SP, SPORTSMAN 570 X2 2012-2022. In a four-stroke engine, the timing chain transfers the crankshaft’s motion to the camshaft.

Why replace the timing chain?

The benefits:

Replace a stretched, noisy chain.
Restore precise valve timing.
Best replaced with the tensioner and guides for a fully new set.

Why choose PROX?

ProX, the Dutch engine-parts specialist since 1975, has its parts made in factories that also supply the manufacturers: OEM quality at a more affordable price.

When should you replace the timing chain on your POLARIS SPORTSMAN 570?

Hard hot starting, valve clearance that keeps closing up or a noisy timing chain: the valve train is wearing.
