The throttle housing on the right of the handlebar: when you twist the grip, you pull the cable that opens the carburettor or injection and makes the engine accelerate.
MOTION PRO offers this throttle assembly. The throttle is a tube that turns on the handlebar; at its end, a pulley winds the cable into the housing.
The benefits:
Motion Pro was founded in California in 1984 by Chris Carter, a former Yamaha off-road test rider and ISDT gold medallist; having started out with control cables, the company now holds more than 30 patents.
A throttle that sticks or does not snap back on its own can leave the throttle open: risk of a serious crash.
Cross-Mania tip: Check the throttle snaps back on its own with the bars on full lock both ways.
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
