Our history

In 1970, Jan Put founded Putoline Oil and gave it its name. At the time, the range consisted of lubricants for bicycles and mopeds. Jan, however, had a passion for MX bikes, and the range soon expanded to include products specifically for MX motorcycles. Putoline Oil grew to become a household name.

Putoline Oil went international in the early 1980s, exporting its products. In the years that followed, the product range continued to expand and the list of countries served continued to grow. Today, Putoline Oil has the world's largest range of motorcycle lubricants and maintenance products, exporting to almost 40 countries!

Experience and development

We've built up a wealth of experience over the years, some of it on the racetrack. This experience and the research we've carried out ensure that we can supply products with excellent value for money. What's more, manufacturing our own products ensures consistently high quality.

As an independent manufacturer, we can react quickly to market developments. We keep a close eye on technical trends. For example, we are the first lubricant manufacturer in the motorcycling world to use nanotechnology in our products. We never stop creating products, and we're always driven by technology!
