MOTO-MASTER Racing GP sintered Front Brake Pads for YAMAHA and FANTIC 2020-2026

The MOTO-MASTER 099812 set of brake pads is designed for YAMAHA WRF 250, WRF 450, YZ 125, YZ 250, YZF 250, YZF 450 and FANTIC XE 125, XEF 250, XEF 450, XX 125, XXF 250, XXF 450 from 2020 to 2026. The pads clamp the disc to slow the bike down. Off-road, they work in mud, water and sand, which wear them quickly: pads in good condition keep the braking powerful and easy to modulate.

When to replace it?

• Friction material worn below the minimum thickness in the manual (often 1 to 2 mm), or wear groove gone.
• Metallic grinding noise when braking.
• Lever or pedal going further, brakes with less bite.

Check pad thickness before every ride, especially in muddy conditions. Never wait for metal-to-metal contact: it scores the disc within a few stops.

Fitting tips

1. Push the caliper pistons back while keeping an eye on the brake fluid level in the reservoir, which will rise.
2. Clean the caliper and the pad pin, and replace the pin if it's marked.
3. Fit the pads with their spring or clip, the right way round, then pump the lever or pedal until you get normal travel back.
4. Check the condition of the disc: a disc that's too thin or warped wears out new pads.
5. Bed in the pads with a dozen progressive stops before riding hard.

Why MOTO-MASTER?

Frequently asked questions

Sintered or organic?
Sintered (metallic) pads last longer and stay effective in mud and water: they're the benchmark for motocross and enduro. Organic pads are gentler on the disc and bite well from cold.

Should both sides be changed?
Always replace the complete set for a given caliper, and check the disc while you're at it.
