NISSIN Master Cylinder Repair Kit MCB11MX

NISSIN offers this master cylinder rebuild kit. The master cylinder is the pump at the lever (or pedal): when you squeeze, its piston pushes fluid down the hose to the brake caliper or the clutch slave cylinder.

Why a rebuild kit?

The benefits:

• A firm, consistent lever again, without buying a whole new master cylinder.
• The kit groups the parts that wear together: everything is changed in one go.
• You keep your original master cylinder, its adjustments and its mountings.

Why choose NISSIN?

Nissin, the Japanese brake maker founded in 1953 (now part of Astemo), has produced motorcycle master cylinders since 1971 and disc brakes since 1974; Honda, formerly its largest shareholder, fits Nissin calipers as original equipment on its CR and CRF models.

When should you replace this part?

Fluid weeping at the lever or pedal, a lever that goes soft or comes back to the grip, a cracked or distorted diaphragm: rebuild the master cylinder.
