The wear parts of a brake or clutch master cylinder (piston, seals, diaphragm) to rebuild it instead of replacing the whole unit.
BRAKING offers this master cylinder rebuild kit. The master cylinder is the pump at the lever (or pedal): when you squeeze, its piston pushes fluid down the hose to the brake caliper or the clutch slave cylinder.
The benefits:
Fluid weeping at the lever or pedal, a lever that goes soft or comes back to the grip, a cracked or distorted diaphragm: rebuild the master cylinder.
Cross-Mania tip: Clean the bore with brake fluid and check it is neither scored nor pitted, fit the seals coated in fresh fluid, then bleed; only use the specified fluid (DOT or mineral oil).
Universal part: check the dimensions given before ordering.
