BREMBO offers this brake master cylinder. When you squeeze the lever, it pushes a piston in the master cylinder. That piston drives brake fluid down the hose to the caliper, whose pistons clamp the pads against the disc; a reservoir holds a reserve of fluid.
Why replace the brake master cylinder?
The benefits:
- Replace a master cylinder that leaks or was broken in a crash.
- Choose the feel: radial models, whose piston is pushed in line with the lever, give more precise braking that is easier to control.
- Left-hand kits let you brake the rear wheel from the handlebar, a useful option with an automatic clutch.
