The hose that carries brake fluid from the lever or pedal to the caliper, in a stainless braided version that does not swell.
TECNIUM offers this braided brake hose for HONDA TRX 450 R SPORTRAX KICK START 2WD 2004-2005. When you pull the lever or press the pedal, brake fluid is pushed through the hose to the caliper, which squeezes the pads onto the disc.
Why fit a braided brake hose?
The benefits:
- A firmer lever: the effort you put in really reaches the pads.
- Braking that is easy to modulate and does not go soft when the brakes get hot.
- The stainless braid stands up to rubbing and flying debris better than a rubber hose.
When should you replace the brake hose on your HONDA TRX 450 R SPORTRAX KICK START 2WD?
A spongy lever, or a cracked, bulging or weeping hose: the hose must be replaced.
