      VENHILL offers this braided brake hose for YAMAHA YZ 125, YZ 250, YZ 250 X, YZF 250, YZF 450 and FANTIC XE 125, XEF 250, XEF 450, XX 125, XX 250 2020-2027. When you pull the lever or press the pedal, brake fluid is pushed through the hose to the caliper, which squeezes the pads onto the disc.

      Why fit a braided brake hose?

      The benefits:

      • A firmer lever: the effort you put in really reaches the pads.
      • Braking that is easy to modulate and does not go soft when the brakes get hot.
      • The stainless braid stands up to rubbing and flying debris better than a rubber hose.

      When should you replace the brake hose?

      A spongy lever, or a cracked, bulging or weeping hose: the hose must be replaced.

      Specifications and fitting tips

      • Corrosion-free 303 stainless steel swivel unions allow perfect twist-free alignment.
      • PVC jacket from a range of colours protects the braided hose and paintwork
      • Manufacturer part number: Y01-2-040/P

      Cross-Mania tip: Use new banjo washers, refill with fresh fluid (the DOT grade shown on the reservoir) and bleed carefully.
