      NG offers this brake disc for POLARIS MAGNUM 500, SPORTSMAN 400, SPORTSMAN 500, SPORTSMAN 500 HO, XPLORER 400 1994-2013. The disc is bolted to the wheel and turns with it. When you brake, the caliper squeezes the pads against the disc: the friction turns speed into heat and the wheel slows down.

      Why replace your brake disc?

      The benefits:

      • Get back strong, steady braking, with no vibration in the lever or pedal.
      • New pads last longer on a disc that is flat and the right thickness.
      • Diameter and bolt holes made for your bike: it fits in place of the original disc.

      When should you replace the brake disc on your POLARIS SPORTSMAN 400?

      Measure the thickness with a micrometer: below the minimum stamped on the disc, or if it is warped or cracked, it must be replaced.
