The MOTO-MASTER Nitro MX flottant avant 112356 brake disc is designed for YAMAHA WRF 250, WRF 450, YZ 125, YZ 250, YZF 250, YZF 450 and FANTIC XE 125, XEF 250, XX 125, XX 250, XXF 250, XXF 450 from 2016 to 2026. Gripped by the pads, the brake disc soaks up the heat of every stop. Its design (cut-outs, petal profile) helps clear mud and cool it down.

When to replace it?

• Thickness below the minimum stamped on the disc or given in the manual.
• Warped disc: vibration through the lever or pedal, brake that “pulses”.
• Deep scoring, cracks or blueing after overheating.

Measure the thickness with a micrometer every time you change the pads, and replace the disc as soon as it reaches the minimum thickness, or if it's warped or cracked.

Fitting tips

1. Clean the hub mounting face: a single grain of sand under the disc is enough to throw it out of true.
2. Fit the disc the right way round (markings facing out, direction of rotation if indicated).
3. Tighten the bolts in a criss-cross pattern to the manufacturer's torque, with medium-strength threadlocker.
4. Degrease the disc and ideally fit new pads.
5. Bed in with a dozen progressive stops.

Frequently asked questions

It's strongly recommended: worn pads have taken on the shape of the old disc and won't brake well on a new one.
