      NG offers this brake disc for HM CRE 50, CRE 50 DERAPAGE, CRE 50 DERAPAGE RR, CREF 450, CRM 50 DERAPAGE COMPETITION and SHERCO SE 125 CITYCORP, SE 50, SM 50 2002-2017. The disc is bolted to the wheel and turns with it. When you brake, the caliper squeezes the pads against the disc: the friction turns speed into heat and the wheel slows down.

      Why replace your brake disc?

      The benefits:

      • Get back strong, steady braking, with no vibration in the lever or pedal.
      • New pads last longer on a disc that is flat and the right thickness.
      • Diameter and bolt holes made for your bike: it fits in place of the original disc.

      When should you replace the brake disc?

      Measure the thickness with a micrometer: below the minimum stamped on the disc, or if it is warped or cracked, it must be replaced.

      Cross-Mania tip: Fit new pads with a new disc, degrease the braking surfaces and tighten the bolts with threadlocker to the specified torque. Bed the brakes in gradually.
