The disc that the pads grip to slow down and stop the wheel.

NG offers this brake disc for KYMCO MAXXER 450, MXU 550, MXU 550 I EPS, MXU 700, MXU 700 I EPS and ARCTIC CAT 400 4WD MANUAL TRANS., 400 4WD MANUAL TRANS. FIS, 500 4WD AUTO TRANS., 500 4WD MANUAL TRANS. FIS, DVX 300 1998-2024. The disc is bolted to the wheel and turns with it. When you brake, the caliper squeezes the pads against the disc: the friction turns speed into heat and the wheel slows down.

Why replace your brake disc?

The benefits:

Get back strong, steady braking, with no vibration in the lever or pedal.
New pads last longer on a disc that is flat and the right thickness.
Diameter and bolt holes made for your bike: it fits in place of the original disc.

When should you replace the brake disc?

Measure the thickness with a micrometer: below the minimum stamped on the disc, or if it is warped or cracked, it must be replaced.
