PROX Front Brake Caliper Rebuild Kit for KAWASAKI KX 65, SUZUKI RM 65 and HONDA CRF 125 2000-2025

On HONDA CRF 125, KAWASAKI KX 65 and SUZUKI RM 65 from 2000 to 2025, the PROX avant 37.63001 brake caliper rebuild kit fits in place of the original part. This kit rebuilds the brake caliper: pistons and seals, depending on the part number. Hardened seals or pitted pistons make the pads stick and the brake overheat; replacing them gives you clean, consistent braking again.

Specifications

• Brand: PROX
• Manufacturer part number: 37.63001
• Weight: 60 g

When to replace it?

• Brake that stays on or runs hot: the pistons don't retract properly.
• Fluid leaking at the caliper.
• Pistons pitted, scored or corroded.

Rebuild the caliper as soon as a piston sticks or leaks, and as preventive maintenance on a bike that often rides through water and mud.

Fitting tips

1. Drain the system, remove the caliper and push the pistons out with compressed air at low pressure, keeping your fingers out of the way.
2. Clean the seal grooves without scratching them, then fit the new seals lubricated with fresh brake fluid.
3. Push the pistons back in by hand, nice and straight, then refit the pads.
4. Fill and bleed the system with fresh fluid, then check that the lever or pedal is firm.
