A spray degreaser that removes oil, grease and dust from brakes and mechanical parts, then evaporates without leaving a trace.
MUC-OFF offers this brake cleaner. A brake only works properly on clean surfaces: the slightest trace of oil, grease or chain lube on a disc reduces braking.
Why a dedicated brake cleaner?
The benefits:
- It degreases without scrubbing, even in the corners of a caliper.
- It evaporates without leaving a film: the disc gets a clean surface back for the pads.
- A handy product all round the workshop: parts to refit, threads, greasy tools.
When should you replace this part?
Use it at every pad change and whenever a disc has had oil or chain lube on it; soaked pads generally need replacing.
