TWIN AIR Air Filter for SUZUKI RM 65 2003-2005

On SUZUKI RM 65 from 2003 to 2005, the TWIN AIR 153010 air filter fits in place of the original part. Off-road, the engine breathes air full of dust. The oil-soaked foam filter traps the particles; worn or badly fitted, it lets through dirt that wears out pistons and cylinders.

Specifications

• Brand: TWIN AIR
• Manufacturer part number: 153010
• EAN code: 8720239708547
• Engine: 2-stroke

When to replace it?

• Foam hardened, torn or coming away from its frame.
• Traces of dust behind the filter, in the intake boot.
• Filter that no longer gets its shape back after cleaning.

Clean and oil the filter after every dusty ride, and at least at the intervals given in the manual; replace it as soon as the foam hardens, tears or comes away from the frame. With two filters, you always have a clean one ready to go.

Fitting tips

1. Wash the filter with air filter cleaner, rinse it and let it dry completely.
2. Soak it in air filter oil, then squeeze out the excess without wringing the foam.
3. Lightly grease the sealing rim for a perfect seal.
4. Fit the filter flat on its cage, with no creases, and check that it seals all the way round.
