PROX Air Filter for HONDA TRX 300, TRX 450 1995-2004

The PROX 52.13088 air filter is designed for HONDA TRX 300, TRX 450 from 1995 to 2004. The air filter stops dust and sand before they get into the engine. A single grain of sand is enough to score a cylinder: a clean, well-oiled and properly sealed filter is the best insurance for your engine.

When to replace it?

• Foam hardened, torn or coming away from its frame.
• Traces of dust behind the filter, in the intake boot.
• Filter that no longer gets its shape back after cleaning.

Clean and oil the filter after every dusty ride, and at least at the intervals given in the manual; replace it as soon as the foam hardens, tears or comes away from the frame. With two filters, you always have a clean one ready to go.

Fitting tips

1. Wash the filter with air filter cleaner, rinse it and let it dry completely.
2. Soak it in air filter oil, then squeeze out the excess without wringing the foam.
3. Lightly grease the sealing rim for a perfect seal.
4. Fit the filter flat on its cage, with no creases, and check that it seals all the way round.
