BIHR capacitor for KTM SX-F 250, SX-F 350 and SX-F 450 four-strokes. The same part also fits the HUSQVARNA FC 250, FC 350, FC 450 and FS 450.
On a fuel-injected engine, the fuel pump, injector and ECU need a stable voltage from the very first turns of the crankshaft. The capacitor stores the energy produced by the alternator and smooths the circuit voltage, especially on bikes that run without a battery.
Hard starting, cutting out at low revs or stalling at idle can all come from a tired capacitor. Before taking the injection apart, check its connector and casing: a swollen capacitor or corroded terminals mean it is time to replace it.
Capacitors for other brands: KAWASAKI, SUZUKI, YAMAHA and HONDA.
